Photomontage: Image Hijack (Part 1)

There are a lot of important political issues present in our society. The three I decided to focus on for this project include:

- Immigration

- Change to Electric Vehicles

- AI Takeover

To represent immigration, I decided to use the iconic image from my favorite album, Abbey Road by The Beatles. The image features the group crossing Abbey Road, which I thought could be altered to represent the subject. 

The first image (top left), shows them crossing the "border" from Mexico into America. There is a brick wall representing the border that is supposed to keep them behind it. The image includes the Mexico flag on the left side and the US flag on the right. This helps the viewer to better understand what the image is supposed to represent. 

The second image (top right), has a similar concept to the first. The left side is represented as Mexico through the use of the desert background with a filter. The right is the same as the original Abbey Road image. 

The third image (bottom left), includes a famous building in Mexico, Palacio de Bellas Artes. The other side includes the White House to represent America. The road includes the Mexican and American flags on their respective sides blended into it. 

The fourth image (bottom right), is a little simpler than the other three. It has the Mexican and American flags as the background to represent the two sides. 

The next political issue I wanted to cover is the switch to electric vehicles in America. Making electric vehicles mandatory in the future is a step forward in creating a greener earth. Nobody is changing the automotive industry like Elon Musk and Tesla. The image I decided to use is the iconic cover from the first Superman comic book. 

The first image shows Superman with the Tesla logo on his chest destroying a gas powered car. There are a few different people running on the cover. These people represent those who are against the electric vehicles taking over the industry. These include oil companies, gas station owners, and the average person against EVs. 

The second image shows Elon as Superman destroying a more modern gas vehicle. This image has the car emitting pollution into the air. The background includes the Tesla vehicle, which will be the replacement for the destroyed car.

The third image has "SuperMusk" destroying the gas car from the original comic book cover. The background image is split between two sides. The left side shows the gas powered car in a polluted environment. The right side shows the Tesla in a electric background with lightning bolts. 

The fourth image is similar to the second one but includes more destroyed vehicles in the background instead of the people running. 

The final topic is the AI takeover that is happening in the world. AI is becoming more advanced at a rapid pace and is showing signs of its potential takeover. For this I decided to hijack the famous image of Albert Einstien sticking his tongue out. Albert Einstien was a very intelligent person, and the AI is starting to follow that. 

The first image shows Einstien with cybernetic parts on his head. This represents the intelligence of AI by comparing it to Einstien. He is holding the earth in his hand, representing how the AI has a grasp on out world.

The second image has Einstien with a artificial brain in his head. Behind him is the earth, which further builds on the idea that AI has the potential to take over in our society.

The third image has a similar concept of Einstien with the same artificial brain in his head. Around him are examples of how AI can be detrimental to humans in society. This includes taking our jobs and money, while including some ethical problems such as its emergence in the art industry. 

The fourth image has Einstien with the cybernetic parts on his head. For this one, however, has the earth in his hands in flames.
