Fantasy Avatar (Part 2)

    For this design, I turned Seattle Seahawks rookie Tariq Woolen into an Avatar. He has been given the nickname “Avatar”, so I thought it would be very fitting for this assignment. I decided to incorporate elements of my first sketch into my final design. I followed the steps from the Avatar Na'vi Tutorial to create this image. I decided to keep a lot of elements from the original image in my design. This meant keeping the same background and jersey as I wanted him to still feel like a football player. I changed his skin color, eye color, and altered some features. This would include creating bigger eyes and adding the ear of an Avatar to his head. 

    While I kept the design similar to the Na’vi, I also incorporated elements of the Seahawks into his face. There is the Seahawks feather pattern on his forehead and a wing pattern on his cheeks. It also keeps the basic patterns of an Avatar while incorporating unique elements into its design. I added a camera raw filter to the final edit to strengthen the colors and details within the image. This enhanced the photo significantly in my opinion and made it more dramatic looking.
